Microgreens Fundraiser

Each week in 8 square feet, students grow enough food to feed 100 families. Some of the food they sell as a school fundraiser. The rest they donate to neighborhood food pantries or use in their cafeteria food service.

Education for 21st century challenges

Vertical farming will be a solution to food production and distribution challenges driven by climate change. NASA will use vertical farming and microgreens to grow fresh produce for astronauts on long space missions.
